What is Organic Waste Composter?
An organic waste composter is a machine used for the treatment and recycling of organic waste or wet garbage. A composter is a self-contained system capable of performing micro-organism-based composting in controlled conditions. This technology has found applications in diverse waste-producing industrial segments. Hospitals, clinics, municipal waste facilities, farms, slaughterhouses, supermarkets, ports, sea vessels, and airports are the primary beneficiaries of on-site waste conversion.
Organic Waste Composter Technology is an environmentally friendly alternative to other traditional means of waste disposal that include incineration, plasma arc and landfill dumping. Organic Waste Converter results in a small carbon footprint, thus avoiding polluting emissions into the atmosphere and resulting in a usable end product - Organic Fertilizer.

What Can Be Composted?
Fruits, vegetables, dairy products, grains, bread, unbleached paper napkins, coffee filters, eggshells, meats and newspaper can be composted. If it can be eaten or grown in a field or garden, it can be composted. Items that cannot be composted include plastics, grease, glass, and metals -- including plastic utensils, condiment packages, plastic wrap, plastic bags, foil, silverware, drinking straws, bottles, polystyrene or chemicals. Items such as red meat, bones and small amounts of paper are acceptable, but they take longer to decompose. Add red meat and bones to only a well-controlled compost pile to avoid attracting vermin, pests and insects to partially decomposed meat scraps.
How long does it take for the waste to convert into compost?
The process reduces the volume of waste by 85-90% by evaporating water and discharging warm air. The remaining 10-15% is turned into compost. This whole process takes from 12 to 24 hours for food waste to be converted into compost.
Can the compost be used directly in gardens/fields?
Yes. The compost can be used directly in gardens or plants. Since it is concentrated it needs to be mixed with soil in the proportion of 10:1 (soil: compost) and then added to the plants.
